A classic Mendocino Zinfandel, exhibiting the rich, bramble fruit characteristics that are hallmarks of the region. Soft tannins balance this full-bodied wine. Lush flavors of blackberry and blueberry are complemented by notes of violet and spice.

With a label inspired by the psychedelic rock posters of the 1960s, Zinfandelic captures the spirit of Zinfandel, California’s quintessential wine. The vineyards are located on the rolling hillsides of Mendocino with their beautiful iron and organically rich soils producing fruit forward, brambly flavors.

Zinfandelic's Mendocino Zinfandel wine makes an excellent food pairing choice for anything hot off the grill, such as grilled tri-tip steak. Try slicing up the steak and throwing it on top of a sourdough dinner roll.

"This big but plush wine is deep in color, rich in blackberry aromas and saturated with ripe jammy flavors that spread across the palate and cling to the sides of the mouth. It is full bodied, very concentrated and has a ripeness that leaves a fruity sensation on the finish."

"Bright black violet color. Aromas and flavors of grilled berries, polished furniture, patent leather, green bell pepper, and green peppercorn with a chewy, vibrant, dryish medium-to-full body and an intriguing, medium-length dried mint finish with harsh tannins and moderate oak. A big, zesty Zinfandel; give this one some time to open up."

Mendocino Vineyard Sourcing

Mendocino, located in California’s rugged North Coast, has unique microclimates. The coastal mountain range manifests high heat during the day while the close proximity to the Pacific ocean allows cooling in the evenings. This coupled with rich, well-drained soils makes great growing conditions of varietally expressive Zinfandel.
