About Zinfandelic
Zinfandel has always been the quintessential California wine. Taking on the characteristics of the regions where it is grown, the flavor of California Zinfandel is like the flavor of California itself. It's free love in a bottle, with a vibe all it's own - at times mellow, at others flamboyant or even spicy. But it's always, dare we say, groovy.
From California wine industry veteran Daniel LeFrancois, with the help of consulting winemaker Phillip Zorn, Zinfandelic is a collection of Zinfandel wines that capture the varying personalities of California's grape.
Zinfandelic's 2005 Amador County Old Vine Zinfandel is sourced from sustainably farmed old vine Zinfandel vineyards in the Sierra Nevada wine-growing region, home to some of the oldest Zinfandel vineyards in the United States, if not the world. This region's unique soil composition of decomposed granite and mild climates provide ideal growing conditions for Zinfandel.
As we expand our collection of Zinfandel wines, we hope to offer Zinfandel lovers an opportunity to explore and enjoy California Zinfandel wine and it's many wonderful characteristics.
